My Little Girls

We have had a little bit of excitement in the house I guess. First, Sydney was so excited that she lost her very 1st tooth! It was such a milestone and was so brave. It popped right of her mouth while Travis was wiggling it. Then exactly one week later she lost another one!

Brynlee had a first also! I have always been able to trim her hair here and there over the past, but it was time for her first real hair cut done by a professional. She was blessed with my straight, fine hair and we all know that dad didn't help at all on that either so we had to go short. I really hope it thickens out as she gets older. Poor girl! But it sure looks cute doesn't it?

She is such a girly girl! The other first we had last week was Sydney's first dance recital. She was so excited for it. Her costume was darling and she did soooo good dancing. I was afraid she would get up there and stand, but she did all the steps and looked so cute. I was very proud of her.

Peyton also had a band concert that same night so we all kind of spilt up and went all different ways. I'll have to catch the next one in May. I was told he did great. He seems to like it!

Catch up

My life is kind of boring and I really have not had anything to exciting to blog about. I have enjoyed the warm sunshine the past couple of days and wish it was here to stay. However, we live in Cache Valley so we get to wait a little while for the real nice temps like the 70s and above. Some time I think I should not watch the weather forecast and see that SL is so much warmer that us. It just makes me sad. We have been able to go outside and enjoy it the last couple of days though so that is good. I finally got around to decorating Dylan's room for his birthday. He has been upstairs for a couple of years and has never got to have his room the way he would like it. So for his birthday I bought him a new bed spread and decorated the walls for him. He was totally surprised and seems to love it. With spring comes the business of the kids activities. Soccer will be starting soon for Sydney and Dylan. Sydney has a dance recital and Peyton has a band concert both on the same night. Not sure what we are going to do there. Matthew and Emily had piano recitals a while ago and Peyton and Dylan are getting ready for theirs. I love the kids being involved, but sometimes it really gets tiring! We are looking forward to going to St. George for spring break. We are praying for warm weather. Every time we go down, we take the "unseasonably cold weather" with us. Here are a couple of pics of Dylan's room.
